OTHER POINTS

A) Competition Seeding

State Associations should submit competition registrations in seed order on the State Registration Form. The seeding registration process is particularly important for the Kyu and Dan Individual competitions as it is likely that not all states will fill their quotas. State Associations are requested to submit a full list of competitors wishing to compete in all individual events.

Where a State does not fill their quota, the remaining States will be allocated additional places from unfilled state quotas in accordance with clause 2.4.2 of the AKR Manual of Documents. The Manual is available on the AKR website: http://www.kendoaustralia.asn.au/content/documents-forms-policies-faqs

The VKR will confirm places by MONDAY 1ST MARCH and issue an invoice to State Associations for payment of fees.

B) Changes to Registrations - Competition
State Associations must submit all competition registrations using the State Registration Form by the closing date. Late competition entries will not be accepted except in exceptional circumstances at the Organiser’s discretion. Requests for changes to registrations after the closing date should be forwarded to the VKR Treasurer: treasurer@kendovictoria.asn.au. Decisions by the Organisers may be referred to the Kendo Board for a final determination.

C) Changes to State Registrations – Seminar, Grading
Seminar and grading registrations should be submitted by State Associations using the State Registration Form by the closing date. Only participants who have registered to attend the Seminar or attempt a grading will be allowed participate in those events. Requests for changes or additions to registrations after the closing date should be forwarded to the VKR Treasurer: treasurer@kendovictoria.asn.au.  Acceptance of requests for change or additions will be at the organiser’s discretion.
